AI education for MENA
jawdat.ai was founded by Jawdat Shammas — a futurist and technologist who has been at the intersection of technology and education for nearly four decades.
Jawdat started programming at age 10 in 1987 on an MSX computer. Since then, he has witnessed and participated in every major technology shift — from the internet revolution to mobile, social media, and now artificial intelligence.
Professional Journey
With over 25 years in digital marketing, Jawdat has held C-level corporate positions across some of the region's most prominent companies — including CMO at Jamalon.com, CDO at VogaCloset, and Regional SEO Manager at Souq.com (now Amazon).
He has trained more than 500,000 professionals across 8+ countries in the Middle East, through partnerships with organizations including Google (Maharat min Google), New Media Academy Abu Dhabi, and Edraak (Queen Rania Foundation).
Entrepreneurship & Recognition
In 2016, Jawdat founded Relevancy Agency and Relevancy Academy, bringing structured digital marketing and AI education to the region. He was recognized as one of the Top 100 Leaders in Education in Dubai in 2019.
He has served as a mentor at leading startup accelerators including Oasis500, Flat6Labs, BRINC, and JUSOOR — helping early-stage companies build growth strategies rooted in digital and AI.
Jawdat holds a BSc in Computer Information Systems.
